Well I did it. I have been avoiding this moment for many years, creating a blog lol. I don't feel I have much of importance to say but here it goes. If anything I am doing this for me and my family for a record of the fun times that we have and to account for all the blessings and experiences that we come accross in life. I am no pro when it comes to the computer actually I am quite the opposite, very inexperienced when it comes to technology, shoot my tv still operates on messing around with bunny ears! But I am here for the long hall and hope to learn as I go. Please, any tips are greatly appreciated!
I am a happily married woman of 5 yrs 4 months and 4 days. I have loved every minute of it. My husband and I compliment each other quite well (ok whos kidding I compliment him very well lol) and have honestly never really been in a fight. Disagreements sure but those are even few and far between. We love to spend time together, even though it does not happen as much as it used to but I plan to try and change that this next year. I believe dating while married is just as important if not more so than when you are courting one another. I just need to practice what I preach a little more! I love the little things he does, from waking up in the morning and blowing his nose so hard it sounds like an elephant to his routines of shaving, getting dressed, etc. He sings all the time, cannot kiss me enough (which our daughter Brecklyn always screams at him for doing), and always enlightens me with some type of trivia or knowledge that I have no idea how he knows. I find myself very lucky to have my Dallas, he is my life and look forward to an eternity of building our relationship
My oldest daughter Brecklyn is one Sassy little girl! She keeps my smiling and impresses me every day! She is very smart and tells you like it is. I am in real trouble with her when she hits puberty! She already sleeps like a teenager so I don't know what I will do when she actually becomes one =). She turned 3 on September 18th and knows all her letters, their sounds and knows her numbers from 1-20. She is working on writing and does very well on being able to write words when I tell her how to spell them. She writes all of her own words on cards that she likes to make. She loves Cinderella, Books, Make Believe, Playing in the sand at the park, painting pictures, playing Candy land and other games, and boy I can go on forever! She is the one person that can make Taylee laugh out loud without trying. She just goes over to her and stands and will make her laugh. Which is kinda crazy because most of the time she shows her little attention, I believe out of jealousy. She keeps me so busy I am always looking for new things to do with her to keep her mind active and her hands busy.
Taylee my little pumpkin she is my precious little baby. She is so happy, I love it! She is 7 months old and I am loving every minute! I believe we will have one more child but I am trying to treat every step as if it is the last time I will have a baby to go through that stage (something I wish I would have done with Brecklyn instead of always wondering how long it will take her accomplish the next big milestone). She just clapped for the first time the other day and she does it every day not just watching her little hands as they connect and make sound one with another. She makes the cuttest little sounds and loves to babble. She can say dada but she only does it when she wants to and not on command =). She loves her mama and demands alot of my attention. She does not like to be left alone and likes attention (but who doesn't). She is so easy going but man when she does get mad she blows up, until she gets what she wants and calms right back down. Kinda like someone I know, not nameing anyone but lets just say I know her very well.
I love this time of the year. I always gets me to reflect on my Savior Jesus Christ. I am the person I am due to the faith that I cherish so dear to my heart. I believe that my every day decisions leads to and shapes my destiny. I do believe that faith without our works, service, and charity is dead. The love of Christ should shine through our souls throughout the year, he needs our hands to do his work! I in no means believe I am perfect and at this time of the year I reflect on that which I have accomplised to please my Lord and Savior and that which I need to improve on. I know that Jesus Christ lives! He was born to Mary and is the Son of God. He loves us and has us engraven upon his palms and feet. He sends us his tender whisperings of His Spirit to guide us in all we do, if we listen.
The year of 2011 will be a good one I hope to share my experiences with you this year!
